Valley Golf and Country Club – North Course
Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Antipolo, Rizal, the North Course at Valley Golf and Country Club stands as one of the Philippines’ premier golf venues — perfect for championship golf tournaments, corporate outings, and high-profile sporting events.
Valley Golf and Country Club was established in 1958 and opened its first 18-hole layout in 1961. In response to growing demand and a flourishing golfing community, the club expanded in 1989 with the addition of the North Course, a distinctive 18-hole, par-72 layout designed to challenge golfers of all levels while embracing the natural contours of the landscape.
Course Characteristics
The North Course offers a strategic and rewarding golf experience. Its design features hilly terrain and well-defined fairways that wind through lush foliage and natural elevation changes. Though slightly shorter in overall yardage compared to some championship layouts, the course is deceptively challenging — requiring precision from tee to green and rewarding thoughtful course management.
With greens maintained to high standards and tees comfortably spread across multiple lines, the North Course accommodates players of differing abilities while still providing formidable test conditions for competitive play.
Tournament-Ready Venue
The North Course has become a favorite for tournaments due to its championship-caliber setup and spectator-friendly routing. From amateur club championships to invitational competitions such as the ICTSI Valley Golf Challenge, the layout consistently delivers an engaging and memorable competitive experience.
Whether hosting multi-flight stroke play events, scramble formats, or corporate tournaments, the course’s varied challenges enhance every round. Event organizers can also work closely with the club to tailor tournament conditions including tee placements, flight pairings, and scoring formats.
Conveniently located along Don Celso S. Tuason Avenue in Antipolo City, the course is just a scenic drive from Metro Manila — making it an accessible destination for local and visiting golfers alike.
Whether you’re planning a competitive tournament, a corporate golf outing, or a leisurely round with friends, the Valley Golf and Country Club – North Course offers a compelling blend of natural beauty, strategic design, and world-class golf.
